According to a video from 01:50 shared on Facebook on Monday, September 14, 2026, Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church (IESC) Worldwide, has said a political alliance involving the presidential candidates of the NDC, ADC and APM could defeat the ruling All Progressives Congress in the 2027 general elections.
Ayodele made the statement in a recent prophecy, where he questioned why Peter Obi of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Atiku Abubakar of the African Democratic Congress and Seyi Makinde of the Allied Peoples Movement were unwilling to put aside their individual interests and form a coalition.
The cleric maintained that an alliance involving the three politicians could change the country’s political direction and bring an end to APC’s control of the presidency. He said, “The formation of Atiku, Peter Obi, Seyi Makinde is the end of APC.”
The prophet, however, expressed concern over what he described as selfishness among the three politicians, suggesting that their individual ambitions could prevent them from achieving a common political objective. He asked, “Why is it that Obi is selfish, Atiku is selfish, Makinde is selfish?”
Ayodele further warned that the politicians could risk another victory for President Bola Tinubu if they failed to reach an agreement on a coalition.
According to him, the opposition figures must decide whether to work together or allow the APC to secure another term in office. He said, “It’s either they form this coalition or watch Tinubu president win second term which will be their end.”
