Davido Still Buys Luxury Cars And Jewelry Despite Repeated Pleas To Stop, Sister Says

Businesswoman Sharon Ademefun has revealed that her brother, Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, continues to purchase luxury cars and expensive jewelry despite repeated efforts to get him to control his spending.

According to Ademefun, she and Davido hold weekly financial meetings to review his finances and keep track of how his money is being spent.

Speaking from 00:12:46 during an appearance on Morayo Podcast, where she discussed her role as the Chief Financial Officer of Davido’s business empire, Ademefun said the singer’s love for luxury automobiles and jewelry remains one of the recurring issues she addresses with him.

She explained that even after asking him during their meetings to stop buying expensive cars and jewelry, she often discovers new purchases online shortly afterward.

Ademefun described the situation as one of the major frustrations she faces while trying to bring more structure and financial discipline to her brother’s business affairs.

She also spoke about their close relationship, saying her role in Davido’s life goes beyond their professional arrangement.

According to Ademefun, she has always been able to speak frankly with the singer, a relationship she said dates back to their childhood.

She recalled taking care of Davido when he was younger, including handling simple responsibilities such as preparing his breakfast, before her family role eventually developed into a formal position within his business affairs.
