The spokesperson of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Theo Abu Agada has taken to his official X account on Friday, September 18, 2026 to react after some supporters of Peter Obi confronted thugs during a rally in Delta state.
In the video that surfaced online, the supporters were seen resisting the thugs despite holding sticks and other weapons.
In the statement that surfaced online, Theo Abu Agada stated that the people resisted the thugs. He stated that as far as the 2027 presidential election is concerned, nobody will be allowed to intimidate any member of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC.
Theo Abu Agada said 2027 will be different from 2023.
According to Theo Abu Agada on his official X account;
“This is how members of our great party resisted thugs in Warri, Delta state. As far as this election is concerned, nobody born of a woman is going to intimidate or harass us. This is not 2023”.
