A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Segun Showunmi has taken to his official X account on September 13, 2026 to react to the comment that was made by Archbishop Bature Kawas about former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi.
In the video that surfaced online, Kawas stated that nobody called him a fake bishop when he supported the former governor of Anambra state.
He said;
“I supported Peter Obi and I was not called a fake bishop. Is it now that I have prayed and God has led me to Tinubu that I suddenly become fake?”.
Reacting, Segun Showunmi told Kawas not to listen to the people criticizing him.According to Segun Showunmi on his official X account;
“Don’t mind them! Are the ones they support real? It’s almost time to put them in their places. Extremely irritating people who just love to gaslight people who have a different opinion from them and their leaders. When they see fake can they recognize it?”.
