Uche Diala, Director General of El-Rufai’s Support Groups Association, has spoken about his visit to former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai in detention, describing the experience as emotionally painful.
Speaking during an interview from 6:02 on Trust TV News, Diala said he had visited El-Rufai once but was reluctant to make frequent visits because seeing him in detention was difficult for him.
He explained that observing El-Rufai’s situation firsthand left him questioning why the former governor was in such circumstances.
“I visited him once, and I can tell you that I am not so excited about visiting him often because it always breaks my heart when I see him. Not just him, but when I see somebody in such a situation, when I look at it critically, carefully, and objectively, everything in me tells me that the person shouldn’t be in such a situation.”
