Primate Ayodele Says Tinubu Is Ready To Push Atiku, Obi Aside In 2027
Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is prepared for a tough political battle ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking from 7:51 on the political realignments taking shape ahead of the election, Ayodele said Tinubu should not be underestimated, particularly as opposition figures such as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi position themselves for the contest.
According to the cleric, the President has the political strength and determination to confront his major challengers.
“Tinubu is extraordinary ready to kick Atiku and Obi out of the way, he is ready,” Primate Ayodele said.
His remarks come as political activity around the 2027 election continues to intensify, with Atiku and Obi remaining prominent figures in the opposition camp.
Atiku contested the 2023 presidential election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, while Obi ran under the Labour Party. Both have continued to remain active in national politics as discussions over opposition cooperation and possible alliances gather momentum.
Ayodele, however, cautioned against assuming that defeating the incumbent President would be an easy task, maintaining that Tinubu is prepared for the political contest.
With the APC seeking to retain the presidency and opposition groups exploring different strategies ahead of 2027, further alliances, negotiations and political realignments are expected as the election approaches.
